Quinton is the Managing Partner of Morehead Capital Management and serves as the firm’s portfolio manager. Prior to forming Morehead in 2008, Quinton worked in a similar capacity in his family’s business, Investors Management Corporation (“IMC”), a North Carolina-based holding company and the owner of Golden Corral restaurants. Prior to his work with IMC, he was integral in building the Leisure and Lodging practice at Gerson Lehrman Group, a specialized investment research firm serving large money management clients worldwide. Prior to Gerson Lehrman, Quinton held positions at Keefe, Bruyette, and Woods, a boutique investment bank serving the financial services industry, and at Nortel Networks. Quinton holds a Master’s of Business Administration from the Kenan-Flagler Business School at The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and an undergraduate degree in religious studies from Skidmore College. He currently serves as a director for Investors Management Corporation, Prometheus Group Enterprises LLC, and Magnus Health. Quinton lives in Raleigh with his wife Jessica and their two sons, Allen and Benn.
