Ken Epps is a Captain in the United States Navy and presently serves as the Division Chief for Strategy & Readiness on the Joint Chiefs of Staff (J4) in Washington, DC. In this capacity, he coordinates development of strategic guidance for the Joint Staff Director for Logistics and conducts comprehensive readiness analysis in support of the Chairman’s Risk Assessment. Ken graduated from Vanderbilt and received his MBA from UNC-Chapel Hill, where he was the recipient of the Frank Hawkins Kenan Award for Excellence. He is a distinguished graduate of the Industrial College of the Armed Forces and completed the Stanford Executive Program in Strategy and Organization. Ken has served in a wide variety of assignments during his Navy career, to include service on two aircraft carriers and a guided missile cruiser as well as key staff assignments in the Pentagon and at the Naval Supply Systems Command and Defense Logistics Agency.
