Hobson Hogan was born and raised in Shreveport, Louisiana. He graduated with Honors from the Georgia Institute of Technology with a Bachelors of Industrial Engineering. While enrolled at Georgia Tech, Hobson participated in the co-op program with an engineering position at The Coca-Cola Company. Prior to Kenan-Flagler, he worked as a management consultant for Accenture in Atlanta, GA. Following graduation, Hobson accepted a position as a Commercial Associate with Progress Energy in Raleigh and then moved to FMI Capital Advisors, a boutique investment-banking firm that serves the Engineering & Construction industry. Hobson now is a Principal with ZweigWhite, LLC, a boutique consulting and investment banking firm serving the Architecture/Engineering/Planning industry. He lives in Chapel Hill with his wife, Fancy, a Carolina alumnus, and their three sons, Nicholas, Sutton and Reed.
