2009/2010 Receptions

In the fall of 2009, the office of Alumni Affairs hosted receptions in four cities. Over 650 alumni, current students, prospective students and guests attended. Dean Jim Dean provided an update on the School at each event, followed by remarks by a faculty member or alumnus.

• Triangle: September 22 at Raleigh Convention Center (remarks by Professor Greg Brown)
• New York: October 20 at the New York Stock Exchange (remarks by John Townsend, AB 1977, MBA 1982)
• Atlanta: October 28 at the offices of Nelson, Mullins, Ritz and Scarborough, LLP (remarks by and event made possible by Jeff Allred, AB 1976, MBA 1980, JD 1980)
• Charlotte: December 2 at Charlotte Country Club (event made possible by Mike Blair, BSBA 1979, MBA 1983). Remarks by Professor Bob Connelly.

The office of Alumni Affairs hosted receptions in seven cities in fall 2008 and spring 2009. Over 850 alumni, current students, prospective students and friends attended. Dean Jim Dean outlined his four major priorities for UNC Kenan-Flagler and showed our new alumni video.
