Professional Mentorship Program
Our mission is to connect UNC Kenan-Flagler students with an alumni mentor. Mentors provide guidance to students throughout their School experience and career search.

Expectation of Mentors
Be available to your student to answer questions and offer guidance. Don't attempt to get your student a job, but provide assistance or contacts.
- A guide to assist in establishing professional and personal goals
- A sounding board for ideas and concerns
- A seasoned professional willing to share personal experiences
- A resource of business information
Expectation of Students
- Contact your mentor within 2 weeks of assignment.
- Contact your mentor at least once a month to update them on your progress.
- Solicit advice, but don't ask for a job.
- Make the most of the relationship.
- Treat the relationship as a professional contact, not a friendship.
