Are children welcome at Alumni Weekend?
Yes. Children are welcome at all of the Alumni Weekend events. Experienced care providers will be available on Friday from 6pm to 9pm and on Saturday from 11am to 4pm. We’ll have a bounce house, magician, and face painters, as well as indoor activities such as movies and games, to keep kids of all ages happy. We will also provide child care at the Casino Night event at Top of the Hill on Saturday evening.
You can see the Children’s Info page for more information. Please indicate when you register how many children under 12 you will bring so we can keep an accurate count.
Where can I find a map of campus or driving directions?
Please visit our Directions and Parking page for maps and driving directions to Kenan-Flagler. If you'd like maps of UNC's campus, please visit the UNC Visitor's Center Web site.
Where can I park for Alumni Weekend?
During activities at Kenan-Flagler on Friday and Saturday, you can conveniently park in the Business School Deck. There is parking available on premises at the Carolina Inn. You can find more details about parking and directions on the Alumni Weekend Directions and Parking Web page.
How late can I register for Alumni Weekend?
You can register online for Alumni Weekend now. Special early pricing is available until January 31st. Online registration will end at 5:00 pm on Thursday, April 4. Onsite registration will be available starting at 11:00 am on Friday. If you miss online registration and want to attend Alumni Weekend, we will gladly help you register once you get to campus.
What should I expect in terms of food?
Our catering is again provided by The Catering Company. There will be more than enough food provided for you at Reunion – and no need to go out for breakfast, lunch, or dinner while you're here. A wide variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages are also available throughout the weekend.
What is appropriate dress for the weekend?
We want everyone to be comfortable, so we suggest "business casual" to "nice casual" for the entire weekend. You may want to dress more "business casual" for the Farewell Brunch at the Carolina Inn.
