Friday, April 10
9:30am – 1:00pm Morning Activities (optional): We are offering a number of fun optional student-led activities in the morning.  Visit the Optional Activities Sign Up Form to register for any of these events.
12:00pm – 2:30pm Special Interest Lunches (optional): There will be a lunch for women, military, and GLBTA. The women’s lunch will include an overview of Carolina Women in Business (CWIB) and the Forte Foundation. Please RSVP for any of these events at the Optional Activities Sign-Up Form.
3:00pm – 4:00pm

MBA Marketing 101: Introduction to Brand Management (optional) 
If you have an interest in brand management, plan to join this learning session led by Kenan-Flagler alum, Alex Lefebvre, from P&G. If you would like to attend, register at the Optional Activities Sign-Up Form.

4:45pm – 6:00pm

Alliance of Minority Business Students (AMBS) Information Session (optional): Please join members of the AMBS for a panel discussion to learn more about the AMBS organization at Kenan-Flagler. The last part of this session will provide an overview of The Consortium for Graduate Study in Management (CGSM).No need to RSVP.
6:00pm – 8:00pm

Welcome Reception: Please join members of UNC Kenan-Flagler's community for a gathering at Graham Memorial Hall to officially kick-off the weekend.

Registration and Breakfast: Registration and breakfast will be taking place at the business school in Loudermilk Foyer.  Pick up your packet for the day and your t-shirt.  There is a separate registration desk for partners. Dress for the day is business casual.

Welcome Address and Program Overview: Dean Doug Shackleford and Associate Dean Sridhar Balasubramanian will bring greetings on behalf of the UNC Kenan-Flagler community and provide an overview of the MBA program.  Mindy Storrie, Director of Leadership will discuss the school’s Leadership Initiative.

Student Information Panels: Join panel discussions to learn about topics that are important to all Kenan-Flagler students and partners.  Choose up to three topics.
12:15pm – 1:30pm
Cafe McColl
Lunch and Student Activities Fair: Grab a box lunch and visit the activities fair tables in Cafe McColl to learn about the various student clubs and organizations.  We will also have representatives from several local apartment complexes at the activities fair.  Partners and families are welcome.

Career Management Center Overview: Amy Wittmayer, Director of the Career Management Center (CMC) and her staff will discuss the career search process and cover the activities and support provided by the CMC.

Career Concentration Overviews: Hear from faculty members and career management staff about a variety of common career paths.  Includes time to talk with faculty, staff, alumni and current students about these career areas.  Choose up to two sessions.
1:30pm – 4:00pm
Faculty Reading Room
Introduction to Kenan Connection (for partners): The Kenan Connection will host a presentation, informal Q&A session and cocktail hour for all partners of attendees.  Join current partners to socialize, gain important relocation information.
4:00pm – 5:00pm
Loudermilk Foyer and Courtyard
Closing Happy Hour: Mingle with admitted students, current students, staff, alumni and faculty to close out the official Experience Weekend program. Partners and families are welcome.
Various restaurants in Chapel Hill Small Group Student Dinners (optional): Our current students have organized small group dinners for admitted students who would like to spend more time with current students and explore some of the restaurants in the Chapel Hill area.  To register, indicate your interest on the Optional Activities Sign-Up Form.
