Associate Dean, Evening and Weekend MBA Programs
As the Associate Dean, Atul is the academic leader of the Evening and Weekend MBA. He works with the other faculty members to design the overall curriculum to ensure the Programs are at the forefront of business education. As a professor, Atul teaches Strategic Innovation in the Evening and Weekend MBA Programs. You’ll often see Atul talking with students when you come to class; he learns as much from you as you’ll learn from him.

Contact Holly with any questions regarding the Evening Program. Holly is available when Evening classes are in session. She has been the Program’s director for more than five years and works with students from admissions to graduation. She is a graduate of UNC’s Weekend MBA Program, which she completed while working full-time as the program director, so she knows firsthand the challenges you face.
Assistant Director, Financial Aid
Anna is the person to contact if you have questions about financing your MBA; she is dedicated to UNC’s MBA programs for working professionals. Anna brings nearly a decade of financial aid counseling to you, and she understands the process of applying for financial aid and understanding your options can be overwhelming. She can provide advice regarding your FAFSA application, eligibility for federal loan programs and discuss other means of financing your degree.

Associate Dean, OneMBA Program
Jayashankar (Jay) Swaminathan is the associate dean of the Global OneMBA, and the UNC-Tsinghua EMBA Program, the dual-degree Global Supply Chain Leaders Program offered with Tsinghua University's Department of Industrial Engineering. He also is GlaxoSmithKline Distinguished Professor of Operations and director of UNC's Center for International Business Education and Research (CIBER). He teaches the OneMBA Global Operations Management course. In addition to a variety of consulting work, Jay is an author; his book Indian Economic Superpower: Fiction or Future? Highlights the emergence of India and its implications for businesses.
Executive Director, Executive MBA Programs
Sarah became Executive Director of UNC Kenan-Flagler Executive MBA Program in 2011, bringing with her an extensive background in overseeing MBA programs. She is very responsive to students and welcomes your feedback. You’re likely to find her everywhere – recruiting, student and alumni events, and between Evening, Weekend, and OneMBA class sessions.
Director, Weekend MBA Program
Anne-Marie is the person to contact with any questions regarding the Weekend Program. She makes herself easily available, including Fridays and Saturdays when you are in class. Anne-Marie has more than 20 years experience with UNC Kenan-Flagler, first as director of Full-time MBA Admissions and now with the Weekend MBA Program. She helped create the Weekend MBA Program, so she’s heard any question you can think to ask, and she usually has all the answers!
Director of Career and Professional Development
Meena is dedicated to the EMBA Programs and is responsible for helping you succeed in reaching your career goals. She employs a consultative approach is regularly schedules one-on-one meetings with students. She manages a variety of additional career-related activating, including hosting webinars on key topics related to career and professional development. Meena also integrates career management with the Executive MBA leadership curriculum, and she actively develops and manages global corporate partnerships for the program. Meena looks forward to working with you.
Director, OneMBA Program
Brigitta joined UNC Kenan-Flagler in 2008 as Global OneMBA program director, bringing broad program management experience gained at Duke Corporate Education and Sara Lee Corporation. Brigitta serves as the primary point of contact for OneMBA students, working with the associate dean and faculty to ensure an extraordinary learning experience. In addition to regular business hours, she is available during OneMBA weekend and global residencies. Brigitta earned her MA in Communication Studies from UNC Chapel Hill and her BA in Communication from North Carolina State University.
Director, Marketing and Business Development
Christine is responsible for marketing, communications, and business development for the Evening, Weekend, OneMBA, and MBA@UNC programs. She works closely with prospective students and their employers. If you know someone who would like to learn more about our Programs, or if you have suggestions for improving our Web sites or other communications, contact her. She came to UNC with extensive marketing experience with companies like LendingTree.com, Progress Energy and McKinney, a major ad agency.
Renee makes sure that you are well fed during the program! She coordinates catering for all three Executive MBA Programs, social events, graduations and info sessions. She also has budget responsibility for all three programs. If you have questions about your tuition bill, Renee is the person to ask, as she is responsible for tuition billing.
Student Services Manager
Miranda wears many hats. She serves as the Programs’ Registrar and helps you with tuition billing and payment. She works with you and your company to coordinate tuition reimbursement, when appropriate. She’s been with the Programs for many years, so she can often tell you who to contact when you need other types of help. Miranda’s office is in the front of the Programs suite, first door on the right.
Admissions and Marketing Manager
Jenny joined the Executive MBA Program team in June 2011. She is responsible for event planning, optimizing social media outlets, and recruitment strategy for the Evening, Weekend, OneMBA, and MBA@UNC programs. She works closely with prospective students. If you know someone who would like to learn more about our Programs, or if you have contacts for corporate recruitment site visits, contact her. She came to UNC with higher education marketing and recruitment experience in institutions such as Appalachian State University, North Carolina School of the Arts and Elon University.
Sharon manages logistics for all three Executive MBA Programs, including working with faculty and staff to ensure classroom space and hotel rooms are available. She also works with other staff members to coordinate and plan student and alumni special events. Sharon is often present coordinating activities during OneMBA and Weekend Program sessions.
If you have trouble accessing UNC Kenan-Flagler’s network, need advice to make sure your computer is compatible with UNC’s requirements, or have other computer related questions, Adam is the guy to contact. If you are technically minded, he speaks your language. And if you’re not, he has that rare ability to translate technical information so that it’s easy to understand. Deborah is usually the first person you’ll talk to when you call or visit the Executive MBA Program office, as she sits at the front desk. Many times she can answer your general questions and provide assistance – or she’ll direct you to the person who can. Most likely Deborah created your application file and sent out your admittance letter. In addition to the admissions functions, she provides general office support for all three programs.
