GLBTA

We have a long history of working to create an inclusive environment for all students, staff and faculty, based on our belief in and commitment to:

  • The value of differences within our society
  • Diversity as a source of strength within our community and an essential part of our intellectual and social climate
  • Equal respect and treatment for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer-identified individuals

We established the Gay Lesbian Bisexual Transgender and Allies Association (GLBTA) in 2002 in order to:

  • Foster a positive environment
  • Build a social and professional network for GLBT students and straight allies
  • Create opportunities for discussion and interaction in the Kenan-Flagler community to address GLBT issues
  • Facilitate networking opportunities among students and alumni, with students at other business schools, and with professionals in the GLBT community
