Summer Office Hours
This summer, we will officer informal, individual information sessions for prospective students, Monday through Friday, between 1:00 - 3:00 p.m. Each session will last 15-20 minutes and is your opportunity to ask an admissions director your questions. If you plan to visit our office during this window of time, please let us know ahead of time so we can issue you a parking permit. Please email mba_info@unc.edu indicating the date and time you will be visiting.
Interviewing
We have an open interview policy at UNC Kenan-Flagler, meaning we will not be sending out invitations to interview. Any applicant can use the online interview scheduler to choose a convenient interview type and time and schedule their own interview. In order to gain access to the online interview scheduler, you simply need to start your application, upload your resume and submit the application fee. Once you have met these conditions, the system will show you the link to the interview scheduler (under the "Interviews and Campus Visits" tab in the application). You must interview before the appropriate deadline in order to be considered for admission. The best decision you will be able to receive if you do not interview before that deadline is "waitlist." It is your responsibility to schedule this interview by the deadline that corresponds to your application round. Interviews slots are limited and highly sought after, so we encourage you to schedule your interview as early as possible.
We encourage you to visit our campus in Chapel Hill and complete your interview during that visit. If an on-campus visit is not possible, you may schedule a phone interview. For applicants based outside of the U.S., we also offer webcam (Skype) interviews and alumni interviews (in selected locations).
All interviews, regardless of type, are equally weighed in the admissions process.

Visiting the Business School
We encourage all applicants to visit our Chapel Hill campus. You may visit campus with or without a scheduled interview. During your visit (during the academic year), depending on availability, you can choose to:
- Attend an MBA class
- Join a group of MBA students for lunch
- Tour the MBA business school
- Attend an admissions Q&A session
