Personal Data Sheet
  • Name, address, contact information, education and professional history
    Résumé
  • Include education history and employment history with titles and dates-in reverse chronological order
    Application Fee
  • $95 non-refundable fee (paid by check, money order or credit card)
    Transcripts
  • U.S. bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • Official, sealed transcripts from every institution
    Test Scores
  • GMAT required. GRE scores are not accepted.
  • TOEFL required for applicants for whom English is not the native language, with few exceptions
  • Send scores to UNC with institution code 5816 and department code 02
    Essays
  • All 8 essays required (on web application)
  • Recommendations
  • Three total required (2 academic)
    Interviews
  • Required for admission. We contact you after we receive your application.
  • Business attire expected for the interview.
    Residency Form
    (only if NC resident)
  • Required for in-state tuition. See qualifications for residency
  • If qualified, complete the short form or long form
  • Financial Certificate (International applicants only)
  • The Financial Certificate must be completed by all international applicants. Please read carefully for complete instructions.

    International Applicants

    TOEFL Exceptions
    Applicants do not need to submit a TOEFL score if:
    • You earned an undergraduate degree or graduate degree at a U.S. college or university
    • Your total education was conducted in English in a native English-speaking country

    N.C. Residency - Short Form or Long Form?

    • If you have lived in the state of North Carolina for three years or longer by the first day of classes of the term for which you are applying, complete the Short Residency Form.
    • If you have lived in the state of North Carolina fewer than three years by the first day of classes of the term for which you are applying, complete the Long Residency Form.
