BSBA Ranking and Reputation
We use rankings as a rough measure of customer satisfaction. While we are already ranked as one of the top business schools in the country, our long-term goal is to be ranked consistently in the top 10 across the major ranking publications.
The BSBA Program is ranked No. 5 among U.S. public and private universities offering undergraduate business degree programs by U.S. News & World Report (August 2007). We rank 3rd among public campuses.
In the U.S. News & World Report specialty rankings areas, Kenan-Flagler ranks:
- No. 4 in Management
- No. 4 in Marketing
- No. 7 in Operations Management
- No. 7 in Finance
- No. 10 in Accounting
- No. 10 in International Business
- No. 12 in Quantitative Analysis
- No. 13 in Entrepreneurship
- No. 15 in Real Estate
- No. 19 in Supply Chain/Logistics
In its third annual ranking (February 2008) of the best undergraduate business programs, BusinessWeek ranked the BSBA Program No. 12. Other rankings of UNC Kenan-Flagler by BusinessWeek included:
- No. 2 in return on investment for public universities
- No. 9 in rigor based on how many hours students report they spend on class work each week
- Straight A's for teaching quality, facilities and services, and job placement
UNC Kenan-Flagler is accredited by AACSB International (The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business). The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill is accredited by the Commission on Colleges of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools.
