The first GLOBE class went abroad to Copenhagen in spring 2007. The yearlong schedule began with the third cohort and will continue into the future.
How it Started
Roots of the GLOBE Program can be traced to the groundbreaking alliance of five top business schools that created the global OneMBA® program for executives. The GLOBE program expands UNC Kenan-Flagler's international opportunities for undergraduate students and gives students the greatest immersion experience overseas.
Application Process
Fifteen top students will be selected from each of the three universities. At Kenan-Flagler, we are looking for students with a strong academic record, interest in other cultures and how business is conducted around the world, leadership potential, ability to work as a team, and who would serve as good ambassadors for the school.
Students are eligible to apply during the fall of their sophomore year only. Admission is based on the BSBA application and a GLOBE essay, and finalists are chosen for an interview. Applicants should consult the BSBA Application Deadlines and Schedule website for the deadline to apply.
