Undergraduate Semester Abroad

The BSBA Program encourages a semester study abroad experience as the best way to gain new perspective and skills in your business education and immerse yourself in another culture. All programs are taught in English except PUC and ESCI (Spanish) and EPSCI at ESSEC (French).

Application Process

Submit completed applications for spring 2009 to the BSBA Program Office by 5 p.m. on Monday, September 15, 2008 for priority placement or by 5 p.m. on Monday,
September 22, 2008
based on space availability. Incomplete or late applications will not be considered.

A $350 application fee will be billed to your account when you confirm your acceptance.

Kenan-Flagler BSBA Merit Scholarships

We encourage all applicants to BSBA study abroad programs to submit a merit scholarship application. Scholarships are awarded to students studying abroad on Kenan-Flagler programs on the basis of merit and good standing.

The University Office of Scholarships and Student Aid may have additional need-based funding
available.

The UNC Kenan-Flagler semester abroad programs in Thailand, South Korea, Singapore and China are eligible for the Phillips Ambassadors scholarship program administered through
the UNC Study Abroad Office. Awards are up to $7500 for a semester program in Asia, and at least 25% of recipients are BSBA majors and minors.

CES Maastricht
Spring:

CES is a non-exchange study abroad program. Tuition and fees are paid to CES and not to UNC.

You must take four courses worth 6.5 ECTS each.

Two courses will be taught at CES and two at the University of Maastricht.

ESCI Housing

Students are responsible for finding their own housing in Barcelona. An organization called the Barcelona Housing Service for Students provides assistance.
