BSBA Minor Curriculum

The business minor offers a basis in management. You may apply for the minor if you major
in a department from one of the following:

  • College of Arts & Sciences
  • School of Information and Library Science
  • School of Journalism and Mass Communication
  • School of Public Health
You must take the equivalent of five 3 credit hour junior and senior business courses
(minimum 15 credit hours) to complete the minor. The program takes three or four semesters to complete. Learn more about prerequisites and admissions. Admission to the minor is competitive.

Courses for the Minor in Business Administration

Registration for Business Minors is completed in person at the BSBA Program Office.

Minor: Required Courses
BUSI 403 - Operations Management (3 credits)
BUSI 406 - Marketing (3 credits)
BUSI 408 - Corporate Finance (3 credits)
BUSI 698 - Strategic Management (3 credits)
Completed after BUSI 403, BUSI 406 & BUSI 408
Minor: Elective
Select one additional 3 credit hour course or pair two 1.5 credit hour courses from either BUSI core or BUSI electives
