BSBA Major Curriculum
The business major takes four years, eight semesters, to complete.
During your first and second year at UNC, you take courses in basic skills and perspectives required of all UNC students and which are an important part of your business degree. You develop important skills:
- Effective written and oral communication
- Critical thinking and problem solving
- Leadership
- Teamwork
UNC requires you to complete at least three semesters of a foreign language. You must complete four semesters of a foreign language if you concentrate in international business.
You complete business prerequisites prior to entering the business major.
After admission to the business major, you take required courses in each of the basic areas of business in your third and fourth year.
You also choose elective courses both in business and from other UNC departments.
