Academics

We offer an education that teaches you about business and the arts and sciences. The business major requires you to take basic courses from all areas of business during your junior year.
  • Management Communication
  • Operations Management
  • Legal & Ethical Environment of Business
  • Organizational Behavior
  • Principles of Marketing
  • Corporate Finance
  • Financial Statement Analysis
  • Advanced Corporate Finance
  • Strategic Management
  • Analytical Applications
  • Business Computing Skills

You choose four or five more business courses during your senior year, called business electives. Business electives help you to develop a focus. Courses from other UNC departments add to this.

The result is that you are able to see "the big picture." We believe that completion of the BSBA Program creates an advantage for you to compete in the job market.

You may choose to complete a Minor in Business Administration instead of a business major.

Sophocles said, "Success is dependent on effort." At UNC Kenan-Flagler, we pave the way for you to succeed. Your effort will pay off for years to come.
