Project Overview

Our Vision
From the time of its charter, the founders of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill valued our positive relationship with the greater community. This ideal still holds true today, and for this reason, everyone at UNC Kenan-Flagler will join together in community service to Orange County.

The Partnership
Our partnership with Habitat for Humanity of Orange County will build a home for the Little family. UNC Kenan-Flagler has had a longstanding relationship with Habitat for Humanity of Orange County, with whom our students have helped to build homes for years.

The Project
For 16 weeks, students, faculty, staff, and our Habitat partner family will come together to build community bonds inside the school and in the community. In addition to the time we volunteer at the construction site, UNC Kenan-Flagler has committed to raise half of the cost of building the house ($30,000). The house is located in Hillsborough, N.C.
