  • The Hürriyet Daily News featured the MBA Program, in "Warm North Carolina attracts Turkish business students." The article featured an interview with MBA admissions senior associate director Alison Jesse, who was in Istanbul recruiting, and quoted Hülya Paþaoðullarý (MBA ’10) and Füsun Erkul (MBA ’11).   • Hispanic Business featured UNC Kenan-Flagler team’s first-place win in the National Student Case Competition at the National Black MBA Association's annual convention. The winning team was Taalib al’Salaam (MBA ’10), James Bryant (MBA ’11), Aeisha Williams (MBA ’10) and Jamal Martin (MBA ’11).
By the Numbers
  • The Financial Times reported that UNC Kenan-Flagler historically ranks in the top in the Beyond Grey Pinstripes, which assesses how business schools integrate social, environmental and ethical issues into their MBA programs. The Aspen Institute ranked the MBA Program No. 14 in the world and No. 2 for course content. (Oct. 21)
  • The Financial Times ranked OneMBA No. 27 among the world’s best executive MBA programs, No. 9 among partnership programs and No. 10 for international resident students.
Alumni and Student Newsmakers
  • The Business Journal reported that Hugh McColl (BSBA ཱུ), former chairman and CEO of Bank of America, received the North Carolina Award, the state’s highest honor in the areas of fine arts, literature, public service and science, in "Hugh McColl honored for public service." The article mentioned that UNC Kenan-Flagler’s building is named in his honor. (Oct. 30)
