Center for Entrepreneurial Studies Wins MBA Entrepreneurship Education Award

The School’s Center for Entrepreneurial Studies won the 2006 Excellence in Entrepreneurship Education Award for the national model graduate program at the annual meeting of the United States Association for Small Business and Entrepreneurship (USASBE) Jan. 12.

The award is given for exemplary MBA programs from leading universities nationally that reflect innovation, quality, comprehensiveness, sustainability, transferability, depth of support and impact.

Ted Zoller, executive director and adjunct professor of entrepreneurship presented the program and accepted the award on behalf of the Center.

"Our curriculum has been recognized by our peers as the leading model for entrepreneurship education at the MBA level, placing Kenan-Flagler in an elite set of graduate business programs internationally," said Clay Hamner, director of the Center.

USASBE is the largest and most distinguished organization in the country dedicated to the advancement of knowledge through entrepreneurship education and research.
