Jane Atkins

Associate Dean for Advancement

Jane Atkins is the Associate Dean for Advancement. She provides oversight and supervision for the alumni affairs and development offices. Jane works closely with the Dean and other senior leadership in designing and implementing strategic plans for external engagement and support that advance the highest priorities of Kenan-Flagler. Educated as an attorney, Jane practiced law for a number of years with the State of North Carolina and then began her career in higher education. She served as Associate Dean for Advancement in the College of Arts and Sciences at Duke University and as Vice President for Institutional Advancement at Meredith College. She holds degrees from Salem College and Wake Forest University, School of Law.
