  • "Applied Research Methods" to students in Kenan-Flagler's Ph.D. Program
Has also taught:
  • The core course on "Leading and Managing" in the MBA program
  • Courses at the University of Michigan Business School, the Darden Graduate School of Business, and the Graduate School of Industrial Administration at Carnegie Mellon University before coming to Kenan-Flagler
Areas of expertise

Edwards' research concerns the meaning, causes, and outcomes of the fit between people and organizations. Specific areas of focus include:

  • The multiple ways in which fit and misfit relate to attitudes and behavior
  • The impact of fit on stress
  • Coping and well-being
  • The dynamics of fit between the person and their work and family environments
  • Research methods in organizational behavior and psychology, an area is which Edwards is a leading authority
