Global Networks
The Center for Real Estate Development's collaborative relationships with other schools and with real estate practitioners enriches the curriculum and research in real estate. The Center is broadening its global network through alliances with individuals and organizations engaged in the creation of sustainable strategies for real estate. It regularly engages industry leaders to speak to and interact with students. MBA students participate in practica and internships to learn firsthand about the industry.
Enriching the Curriculum and Research Through Collaboration
The Center's long-standing partnerships with UNC-Chapel Hill's renowned Department of City and Regional Planning and School of Law make possible the joint MBA/MRP and MBA/JD degrees. These collaborations enrich the content and perspective of the Program and provide contacts for real estate students that serve them well during the Program and throughout their professional careers.
Broadening the Global Network Through Alliances
Through a Real Estate focused Global Immersion Elective the MBA, Executive MBA, and MAC Programs at Kenan-Flagler provide an opportunity to engage in short-term experiential learning abroad for academic credit. Typically, the Real Estate GIE looks to combine relevant and timely international business issues with nuts-and-bolts discussions of how to do business in targeted countries or regions. Past Electives have highlighted some of the most dynamic economies in the world. For details of upcoming real estate focused GIE programs [insert link to GIE program], contact the Center.
