Cross Cultural and Foreign Language Education

The Kenan Institute’s Center for International Business Education and Research (CIBER) offers effective, affordable training programs that teach business professionals to communicate with their international business clients, partners and employees, and improve their cultural awareness.

Each offering in the Center’s Working Languages™ program teaches grammar and vocabulary, business culture and communication in a business context through a combination of interactive technology, distance learning, instructor-led workshops, conversation hours and in-country immersions. The result is a culturally sensitive language speaker who can function comfortably and effectively in the workplace where the target language is spoken.
