"Village Banking: Small Loans, Big Changes"

Engage in a no-holds-barred conversation with Village Banking pioneer and microfinancier John Hatch about the village banking model and how students and other individuals can play a role in eliminating global poverty. After a 44-year career in economic development, John continues public speaking activities, and actively campaigns for an end to global poverty by the year 2025. Hear Hatch's explanation of the difficulties in eradicating global poverty and his proposed solutions for change. This event is free and open to the public. Reception to follow. Co-sponsored by the Center for Sustainable Enterprise.
