BASE the UNC Business Accelerator for Sustainable Enterprise was designed specifically to support
businesses that address the triple bottom line: financial profitability,
social equity and environmental sustainability. Launched in spring 2008, BASE connects businesses to
a range of resources from sustainability
expertise to sustainable capital with the goal of accelerating their
growth and impact.
Mission
As an interdisciplinary UNC program, BASE seeks to accelerate the
growth of sustainable businesses that have environmental and social
objectives as central to their core business, product, or service.
