Curriculum Development

The Global Business Center and its partners promote curriculum development through several programs.

  • Funding Opportunities – The GBC offers funding opportunities up to $2,000 for faculty and Ph.D. students to develop new content for courses that focus on global business and competitiveness issues, with a particular focus on emerging markets of Brazil, China and India and the continent of Africa.
  • India Initiative  – The GBC’s Obama-Singh 21st Century Knowledge Initiative, directed jointly with the Indian Institute of Management Bangalore, offers a reciprocal faculty-in-residence program, mini-grant program for junior Indian faculty, and a planned 2015 conference to support curriculum development related to issues of global sustainability.

This program is supported by an Obama-Singh 21st Century Knowledge Initiative grant through the United States-India Educational Foundation.
