Call for papers: Tax-Efficient Supply Chain Management Conference

    City:
    Chapel Hill
    Location:
    UNC Chapel Hill

Kenan-Flagler Business School invites empirical, theoretical, and experimental papers on any angle related to tax-efficient supply chain management. In this novel emerging field of inquiry, we anticipate and encourage new and original thought that moves beyond the traditional approaches in international transfer pricing, which have ignored the supply chain management literature, and those in supply chain management, which have ignored tax considerations.

Please submit an electronic version of the paper no later than February 1, 2014 to Professor Douglas Shackelford at doug_shack@unc.edu. Paper selection will be finalized by February 25, 2014.

    Chapel Hill

UNC Kenan-Flagler’s Africa Business Alliance is excited to have you attend this year’s Africa Business Conference. Nearly one in three Africans are between the ages of 10 and 24, and approximately 60 percent of Africa’s total population is below the age of 35. In addition, the US government placed emphasis on the support of young African leaders as they spur growth and prosperity, strengthen democratic governance, and enhance peace and security across Africa. Our conference aims to explore the leadership and management methods at the secondary, post graduate and professional level. In addition, we plan to dive deeper into the management and leadership of health supply chains because of their growing importance in Africa.
