Center for International Business Education and Research Grant
The Global Business Center is home to UNC’s Center for International Business Education and Research (CIBER), one of 33 such U.S. Department of Education-funded centers that operate across the United States.
CIBER programs aim to enhance the nation’s competitiveness by improving the global competence of students, educators and companies. Each CIBER designs and implements its own programs, but all CIBERs pool their knowledge and resources to achieve greater impact.
UNC’s CIBER adopted the theme “Transnationalism & Transformation” for its 2010-14 grant cycle. Programs for the grant period focus on transforming students, educators and business people into professionals who operate effectively across nations.
UNC CIBER also disseminates knowledge of best practices gained through its activities through online webinars, conferences, roundtables, symposia and public lectures.
