Paige Ouimet has researched the role of hedge funds in the PIPEs (private investment in public equity) market.  Her current research focuses on mergers and acquisitions of emerging-market firms. She is working on several projects related to ESOP (employee share ownership) and its impact on labor productivity and wages. 

Her work has been published in the Review of Financial Studies.

Dr. Ouimet worked at The Center for Clean Air Policy, an independent, nonprofit think tank working on climate and air quality policy at the local, U.S. national and international levels.

She received her PhD and MBA from the Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan, and her BA from Dartmouth College.
