Isin Guler researches political and institutional influences on organizational investment decisions. Her current empirical research focuses on termination of sequential investments in the U.S. venture capital industry, and the internationalization of venture capital firms in the United States.
Dr. Guler teaches courses in strategic management. Prior to joining UNC Kenan-Flagler, Dr. Guler served on the faculty of Boston University’s School of Management.
She received her PhD in management (strategy) and an MBA in managerial science and applied economics from the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School. She also received an MBA and a bachelor’s degree in management from the Middle East Technical University. |
