Lauren Xiaoyuan Lu works in the areas of supply chain network design, incentives in operations, and operations strategy.

Dr. Lu teaches an undergraduate course in operations management.

Before joining UNC Kenan-Flagler, Dr. Lu worked as  a senior engineer for Oracle Corporation, where she designed and developed the scheduling modules of Oracle Project Resource Management, a key component of Oracle Projects e-business suite.

She received her PhD in managerial economics and strategy from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management, MS in industrial engineering from Stanford University, and BS in biochemistry from Nanjing University in China.
