Biography

Ann Marucheck's teaching and research focus on the management of manufacturing processes and systems, service operations management and strategies for developing operational capabilities for competitiveness in an information-based economy.

Dr. Marucheck is a department editor for the IEEE Transactions on Engineering Management and associate editor for the Journal of Operations Management as well as a number of editorial review boards. She is actively involved in such professional societies as the American Production and Inventory Control Society (APICS). She served on its Curriculum and Certification Council and chaired its Certification Program in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM), an internationally recognized program for establishing professional standards among practitioners in supply-chain management.

An award-winning teacher, she has served as an instructor, consultant or research analyst for such organizations as Baxter Healthcare, Eastman Kodak, GlaxoSmithKline, Hewlett-Packard, IBM, Nortel Networks, Texas Instruments, Thomasville Furniture and the U.S. Department of Energy.

She received a PhD, MS and BS from the University of Oklahoma.
