Ali K. Parlaktürk teaches operations management at UNC Kenan-Flagler. His research interests include product differentiation and mass customization, strategic customer behavior in operations management and analysis of operations in competitive contexts.
His research on self-interested customer routing in queuing networks received an honorable mention in the George Nicholson Student Paper Competition, which was published in Management Science.
Dr. Parlaktürk received his PhD in operations, information and technology and his master’s degree in statistics from Stanford University. He received a bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering from Bilkent University in Turkey. |
