Accounting professor Jeffery Abarbanell's areas of expertise include fundamental analysis and earnings management, financial statement analysis, analyst forecasting, valuation and accounting in transition-to-market economies.

He is an editorial and advisory board member of The Review of Accounting Studies.

Dr. Abarbanell's research has been published in the Journal of Finance, The Accounting Review, The Journal of Business, The Review of Economic Studies, Journal of Comparative Economics, Journal of Applied Corporate Finance, Journal of Accounting and Economics and Journal of Accounting Research.

He received his PhD and MA from the University of Pennsylvania and his BS from the University of Illinois.
